All ILISA courses begin on Mondays. Morning sessions run from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with a 20-minute break at 10:00 AM. Afternoon sessions (for students enrolled in six-hour days) are held from 1:15 PM to 3:15 PM, and occasionally later during peak season.
If group classes are unavailable at your level, ILISA provides three hours of private lessons instead of the standard four-hour group class, at the same tuition rate.
Included in Course Fees
Instruction and course materials (excluding dictionaries)
Complimentary use of the computer lab, internet, and email services
Student ID for discounts on tours and car rentals
Homestay Program
Homestay includes breakfast, dinner, laundry service, a private room, airport pick-up, and transfer to the host family. Prices quoted include homestay. Students arranging their own accommodations may deduct the homestay fee from their weekly course cost.
Additional homestay days for early arrivals or late departures should be requested during registration. Homestay extensions after the course has begun are subject to availability. Homestays may be arranged for non-students if space is available.
All homestay arrangements and extensions must be coordinated through ILISA to ensure scheduling and host family arrangements are respected.

ILISA offers 1 to 3 cultural activities per week, with typical options including lectures on Costa Rican and Latin American culture, non-verbal communication, Latin dance classes, cooking sessions, and visits to museums, the Central Market, and the National Theater.
In Panama, activities may include visits to the historic ‘Casco Viejo’ district, the Miraflores Visitor Center, and the Panama Vieja ruins.
