Summer Program Costa Rica 2021
In this intensive summer program in Costa Rica, students will be enrolled in language classes from Monday to Friday for four hours per day plus multiple activities around the county. Classes will be determined by the student’s level of proficiency or student’s home institution. Spanish classes are offered at all levels. This program is mainly designed for college students or young adults. During the summer we also have our regular programs available including: Spanish for fun, Spanish for your career and Spanish for executives.

Summer program dates 2021
Classes start on Mondays, you need to arrive the day before.
- May 17th and May 24th, May 31st
- June 7th, June 14th and June 21st, June 28th.
- July 5th, July 12th, July 19th and July 26th.

Summer Sessions include:
- Airport transportation 2 ways
- Homestay for students in houses including breakfast, dinner and weekly laundry
- Coordination meeting at the school to give them a brief introduction to our program
- Spanish classes at ILISA including the following courses:
- Spanish I (SPN 1120) 4 hrs/day from Monday to Friday
- Spanish II (SPN 1121) 4 hrs/day from Monday to Friday
- Spanish III (SPN 2200) 4 hrs/day from Monday to Friday
- Spanish IV (SPN 2201) 4 hrs/day from Monday to Friday
- Conversation I (SPN 2240)
- Conversation II (SPN 2241)
- Advanced Conversation (SPN 2341)
- Social areas, cafeteria
Weekend Excursions:
Summer programs include weekend excursions, some of the excursions available are:
- 2 days/1 night at Punta Leona Beach Resort or similar.
- 3 days/2nights Rincón de la Vieja or Arenal Volcano (it depends number of participants and availability)
- For participants who stay more than 4 weeks, it is possible to include different excursions for the weekend, for example Tortuguero, Manuel Antonio, etc.
- The excursions included will depend on the student’s arrival date.
Weekend tours include:
- Accommodation (double or triple standard room, single rooms might require an additional payment)
- Transportation
- Breakfast
Activities
- 2-4 complementary activities will be included per week: dance classes, cooking classes soccer match, movie night, visits to museums, central market or other important sightseeing points. Entrance fees are included for all the activities and also an ILISA teacher will be the guide for each of them.
- Farewell Dinner on the last week.
Prices per student are:
- 1 week $ 740* (includes 1 one day excursions)
- 2 weeks $ 1315* (includes 2 one day excursions)
- 3 weeks $ 1895* (1 one day excursion and one 2days/1 night excursion)
- 4 weeks $ 2530* (includes 2 one day excursions + and one 2days/1 night excursion)
*Special discounts can be offered 2 or more students who want to participate in the program.

Getting There Students will be responsible for reserving and purchasing their international transportation to and from San Jose, Costa Rica.
International Insurance Students will be responsible for getting their own international insurance.
Cancellation and Refund Policy A non-refundable deposit of $400 is required at enrolment, the balance can be paid once in Costa Rica.
