ILISA’s newly developed Educatonal Trips have seen great success, providing professionals with opportunities to explore Costa Rica’s rich attractions, immerse in local culture, and advance their expertise in specialized fields.

Business Program
This program is specifically designed for business students or graduate students and faculty staff.
This program includes 10-12 days full of activities as well as accomodation. Some of the activities include:
- Visits to Costa Rican companies to learn and understand the Latin American business reality and the current interaction with the different international markets. Some of the companies we visit include Gaia cafe, Laica, Delika and Moog and University for Peace.
- Lectures from an investment fund director to acquire basic knowledge about the most important business areas in Latin America.
- Excursions to Punta Leona, Monteverde, Tabacón, Poas Volcano, La Paz Waterfall Gardens, Doka Coffee plantation, Cartago, City Tour, Central Market and so much more.
Costa Rica’s Culture and Biodiversity
This program is designed for high school and college students with limited experience traveling abroad. Over the course of one week, students engage in a full cultural and educational immersion. They stay with host families (other accommodation options are available) and participate in cultural activities that deepen their understanding of Costa Rican traditions and folklore.
Students also attend lectures with experts in biodiversity and anthropology while exploring some of Costa Rica’s most stunning destinations, including volcanoes and beaches.
The program lasts 7 to 8 days.
