Teens Program 2023

This program covers Spanish for everyday use, it provides a solid foundation of the language, and was designed for those teenagers who will be traveling by themselves, with a friend or sibling, etc. (without a pre-formed group). ILISA will supervise the participants and also the host families. They must follow the same rules imposed by the family to their own children. The program includes cultural activities and guided visits in our private bus to many of the sites and natural treasures that make Costa Rica amazing.

Currently this program is offered only in Costa Rica.

Teens Program 2023 Costa Rica:

Start dates: Saturday, July 30th, August 6th, August 13th, August 21st or August 27th

These programs include:

Transportation from/to the airport
Homestay for students in houses including breakfast, dinner and laundry.
Coordination meeting at the school to give them a brief introduction to our program.
Spanish classes at ILISA including the following courses:
- Spanish I (SPN 1010) 3 hrs of classes per day from Monday to Friday
- Spanish II (SPN 1020) 3 hrs of classes per day from Monday to Friday
- Spanish III (SPN 2010) 3 hrs of classes per day Monday to Friday
- Spanish IV (SPN 2020) 3 hrs of classes per day Monday to Friday
Internet lab, social areas, cafeteria
Farewell dinner at at typical Costa Rican restaurant (for 4 weeks program)

Activities: At least 3 excursions will be organized per week including: visit to the Poas Volcano, Central Market, National Museum, coffee plantation, La Paz and more. Normally classes will be scheduled in the afternoon from 1:15 to 4:15 p.m and excursions will be organized in the mornings.Lunches are included at ILISA’s cafeteria from Monday to Friday.

Getting There Students will be responsible for reserving and purchasing their international transportation to and from San Jose, Costa Rica.

International Insurance: Students will be responsible for getting and purchasing their international insurance valid to use in Costa Rica.

Cancellation and Refund Policy A non refundable deposit of $400 is required June 1st balance can be paid once in Costa Rica.
