Teaching Abroad
The teaching abroad program is a very popular program developed at elementary schools or high schools shadowing or assisting teachers on weekdays and visiting touristic destinations over the weekends (volcanoes, beaches, etc). Also, ILISA organizes cultural activities for the participants, that they can join in the afternoon.
This program is available for groups coming from schools of Education, TESOL programs, Teaching courses including study abroad components and more. Also individual opportunities are available.

Some of our partners are: Colegio Saint Francis, Colegio Monterrey, Escuela Roosevelt, Escuela Sunview, Escuela de Cedros, Escuela de Hatillo and more.
From 2015 until 2019 we have had more than 100 students participating in the program University of South Florida , University of Cincinnati Ohio and Hunter College from New York participated in this project and the students gained valuable experience in the educational and social work field.
