The teaching abroad program is highly popular and involves participants shadowing or assisting teachers in elementary and high schools during the weekdays, while visiting tourist destinations such as volcanoes and beaches on weekends. Additionally, ILISA organizes cultural activities for participants to enjoy in the afternoons.

This program is open to groups from Education, TESOL, and teaching courses with study abroad components, among others. Options for individuals are also available.
Some of our partners include Colegio Saint Francis, Colegio Monterrey, Escuela Roosevelt, Escuela Sunview, Escuela de Cedros, Escuela de Hatillo and more.
Over the past several years, more than 100 students from the University of South Florida, the University of Cincinnati, and Hunter College in New York have participated in this project, gaining valuable insights into the fields of education and social work.
