The group from Austin came to ILISA in June and spent 2 weeks in San Pedro studying Spanish, travelling on the weekends and learning about Central American culture. They got a chance to visit our famous local coffee plantation, Irazú volcano and the beautiful National Park of Manuel Antonio. A part of the process of learning about new cultures is to visit local museums and historic places, which we always include in the student’s schedule.
