Become an ILISA representative!
ILISA is looking for a retired or part-time Spanish teacher who would like to earn some extra income by representing and marketing ILISA and its programs among teachers in Northern California.
There is an enormous need for Spanish skills among northern California teachers and we have programs that fulfill these needs. To get closer to these teachers, we are looking for a local representative that would make schools visits and presentations, meet principals and be a liasion between ILISA and major California school districts.
The person should be bilingual (Spanish-English), ideally a non-native speaker, have experience teaching Spanish in California’s school districts and be familiar with the needs, options, incentives and requirements for continuing teacher education in California.
ILISA will give you a $US 500 credit for the first two students you send us as an incentive to make a familiarization trip to Costa Rica. Furthermore, we’ll pay a 10 to 15% commission for every student thereafter. Most students take between 2 and 4 weeks of classes. Program costs for these programs start at $ 910 for 2 weeks and $1620 for 4 weeks (including homestay). Based on our research so far, we feel its entirely feasible to send at least a 100 students yearly.
If you are interested, send us a message with some more information about yourself and your address so we can send you a representative information package.
