It is a pleasure to recommend ILISA for anyone interested in developing or improving his or her Spanish skills. I had the opportunity to lead a group of students during the summer 2014 session, and we all had an excellent experience. ILISA’s courses, accommodations, activities, and overall support make a semester (or more) at ILISA a fantastic option for a study abroad program.
My students agreed that ILISA’s instruction is outstanding. All of my students had the best opinions about their teachers, and I could not ask for anything more. Their Costa Rican host families were extraordinary.
They all bragged about their Tica moms’ home cooking, and some became really spoiled! In addition, tours and after-class activities provided fun and interesting opportunities to learn about many of the best aspects that make Costa Rica a great place to learn Spanish, and, of course, use the language at all times.
Moreover, everyone at ILISA, from the director to the instructors to the cafeteria staff, was always helpful, kind, professional, and willing to support us at all times. I was absolutely pleased with the experience, and I feel confident that my school will send a new group next year and many years to come.
